Ranch Harmonie offers breaking/rehabilitation boarding, which are crucial moments in a horse's life. This sensitive animal has an excellent memory, and any trauma can lead to bad behaviors that may take years to resolve.
My approach is based, above all, on listening, patience, and respect for the horse. My goal is not to obtain quick results, but to build or rebuild solid foundations so that the horse understands what is expected of it and develops calmly in contact with humans.
Horse training is offered at the Ranch in Longuesse, in the Val d'Oise (95), or can be done at home depending on needs and possibilities.
Breaking in
Breaking in a horse is an essential step in its life. I attach great importance to this first experience so that it takes place in a calm and trusting environment.
The work begins on the ground : handling, desensitization, discovering the environment and the different equipment, lunging. Each step is adapted to the horse before moving on to ridden work.
Rehabilitation
Some horses encounter difficulties related to their past, a lack of confidence, or misunderstandings in their work.
Re-education involves patiently going back to basics to help the horse regain serenity, remove stress and achieve a peaceful relationship with humans.
Since each situation is different, an initial exchange allows us to understand the difficulties encountered and to put in place appropriate support, and because a harmonious relationship is built by two people, I take the time to support the owner so that he can continue the work with complete confidence.
Horse work
Whether your horse lacks experience, needs to resume activity after a period of rest, or requires regular work, I offer sessions tailored to its needs.
The work may focus on:
- groundwork
- the reconditioning
- Western riding
- the mountain trail
- working outdoors
Each program is built according to the owner's objectives and the horse's capabilities.
